1. How do I make a reservation on this site?

It's easy to make a reservation on www.aeropelican.com.au. Simply click here to use our online booking facility.

 

2. How long will my journey take?

Details about the length of our flights can be found in the Airport Information section.

 

3. What credit/debit cards do you accept?

We accept most major credit/debit cards on our online booking facility, including Visa, Mastercard and Diners.

 

4. Can I bring my pet on the flight with me?

Aeropelican does not allow animals for carriage or freight on any of our services. However, exceptions are made for guide dogs. Please see the Passenger Information section for further details.

 

5. What are the baggage weight/size restrictions?

All passengers occupying a seat are entitled to one item of baggage (up to 19kg) free of charge. International passengers are entitled to a bag of up to 24kg.

 

The maximum weight of cabin baggage is 4kg. All non-essential carry-on luggage is stowed in the aircraft's baggage hold and will be returned to the passenger on arrival.

6. What is there to do in Narrabri?

7. What identification do I need to bring with me?

All Aeropelican passengers are required to present photo identification upon check-in. Acceptable forms of identification include a current passport, driver's licence, company-issued or student ID or an Aviation Security Identification Card.

 

If photo identification is not available, two alternate forms of identification will be required. Please see Passenger Information for further details.

 

8. Do you offer charter services?

Yes, charter services are available for business, educational and leisure purposes.

 

Please contact us at charter@aeropelican.com.au to discuss your requirements with an Aeropelican representative and to obtain a quote. Please have the following information available: proposed charter date, departure and arrival times, route, number of passengers and any connections to other flights or events.

 

9. What time do the check-in desks close at each airport?

All Aeropelican check-in desks close 30 minutes prior to the aircraft's departure.

 

10. Where can I book a car or hotel in my destination city?

Newcastle, Brisbane and Sydney Airports have visitor information desks, which will be able to provide you with valuable information about transfers, hotels, car hire companies and sightseeing opportunities. Please refer to our destination guides, which can be found in Where We Fly for further details.

 

11. Will I have an assigned seat?

Yes, a seat will be assigned to you upon check-in. Your seat number will be printed on your boarding pass. You are required to sit in your allocated seat throughout the flight.

 

12. Which terminal should I use?

Please refer to Where We Fly for information specific to each airport.

 

13. What is included in the list of restricted items?

Please refer to the baggage section of Passenger Information for details.

 

14. What kind of planes do Aeropelican use?

The Aeropelican fleet consists of five BAE Jetstream 32 aircrafts. Please see About Aeropelican for additional details about the aircrafts.

 

15. Are there any additional fees or surcharges?

There is a $4.00 (GST inclusive) per person per sector charge to use a credit card on our Online Booking facility.

 

Certain fares have conditions that may warrant additional fees if changes are made.  Please check you fare conditions when you make your booking.  If your fare permits changes, you will be charged a change fee of $50.00 (GST inclusive) each time you change your booking.

 

Any bookings made direct with the Aeropelican Reservations centre will incur a booking fee of $30 (GST inclusive).  This fee is not charged for bookings made via the website.

 

16. I will be flying with my baby. Do I need to buy a full-price ticket for him/her?

No, children under the age of 2 travel free of charge on all Aeropelican flights, as long as they do not occupy a seat. Children aged 2-12years (inclusive) are required to purchase a ticket for a seat. Children's fares are available by contacting Aeropelican directly on (02) 49289600, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

 

17. Do Aeropelican carry un-accompanied minors or offer assistance between terminals?

Aeropelican requires that passengers are able to travel independently and assume responsibility for themselves. Aeropelican does not have the staff or facilities required to assist children or provide supervision or transfers to other airlines.

 

Children age 12 years and under are not permitted to travel on Aeropelican flights without an accompanying fare-paying adult over the age of 15 years.
