Aeropelican is proudly supporting Nosh on the Namoi 2010

Feb 9, 2010

Nosh on the Namoi is the Premier Food and Wine event in the New England and North West region of New South Wales and showcases the wonderful range of food, art, music and performance from this diverse area. Nosh is for all ages, bringing the community and visitors together in celebration of our agricultural heritage and cultural interests whilst supporting local business and industry.

Aeropelican has been secured as a major partner for Nosh on the Namoi in 2010. Aeropelican are committed to Narrabri Shire and have come on board with generous support providing four return tickets between Narrabri and Sydney. “The committee welcomes the support. Aeropelican is the ‘Official Carrier’ for Narrabri Shire and the tickets they have provided are vital for us in getting many people here for the event,” says Nosh President Jack Freeman.

“Celebrity Chef Ed Halmagyi is a major drawcard for Nosh on the Namoi, and we are delighted that Aeropelican can transport him and others to Narrabri for the weekend.”

“Principal Partner Eastern Star Gas has secured a partnership with Nosh on the Namoi again this year, providing $10,000 that goes a long way towards running this major Narrabri event. We are very grateful to all our partners that help make the event what it is.”

Nosh this year will begin on Friday 19th March and continue on Saturday 20th March on the Riverside Lawns at The Crossing Theatre, Narrabri. Friday will be The Nosh Night Out cocktail party, catered by Relish Catering, showcasing our local and regional produce.

Saturday will see a showcase of local and regional produce and culture from up to 40 exhibitors. Commencing from 10am and hopefully drawing to a close by around 4pm.

Just when you think the entertainment for the weekend is complete, country music legend John Williamson will take to the stage at The Crossing Theatre, on Saturday night. The committee are pleased that The Crossing Theatre is hosting this concert which will tie in well for an entertaining weekend.

“The securing of strong partnerships is important for the vibrancy of this event. Nosh on the Namoi, Saturday March 20th 2010 promises to meet the expectations of many. The committee aims to attract more people to Narrabri Shire for the Nosh weekend and to see Shire businesses and attractions capitalising on the extra visitors and festival atmosphere.”

“Nosh is the biggest annual event in Narrabri Shire and the largest Food and Wine festival in the region. We are thrilled to have so much support and interest in Nosh 2010.”
